New Family Pictures! -Thanks Emilie!!!!!!
WOW! 5 months later...! Geez we stink at this, and need to get better!
Well we have new Family Pictures Coming Soon! We are so excited! We went to a quaint little cabin up by Brighton Ski Resort and picked an awesome day! It was a perfect day, but the kids...not true...Boede not so perfect! He had a hard time posing, smiling and being good! Probably cuz we all had snow in our shoes, wet butts, and icicle fingers! But as you can see the picts, so far, have turned out great!
Thanks to Emilie for doing such a fine job! Check out more images over at http://www.photobyemilie.blogspot.com/ and like I said...More to come!

So, a while back I was tagged by Mindy to do the 10 things people might not know about me. At least I think that was what it was. So here goes:
10. I forget...alot. Just call me Forgetful Jones.
9. I have crooked fingers and toes. My toes drive Scott nuts. He is always trying to straighten them. And I have even had the nail technicians snicker at my fingers when they are doing my nails.
8. I have a phobia of sweat. I hate other people's sweat, I hate my sweat. It is just gross.
7. Music is a thing of joy for me. I love to listen to the radio, I love to listen to people play, I love to play and it can seriously make my day to hear a great song that I haven't heard in a while.
6. I love to read. I mean LOVE it. Recently I read a 383 page book in one day. Yeah, I kindof have a reading addiction problem. In fact, I have a spreadsheet where I list the books I read and the author and how many pages and a description and how well I liked it....no just kidding. I don't do that. I am not THAT big of a geek.
5. I am defective on a few girl genes. I didn't get any of those decorating genes that girls are supposed to have. Not any. Ask Scott. And I didn't get the shopping gene either. I hate to shop. Most especially grocery shop....with kids....who always have to go potty...and don't make it in time....and babies screaming....and well, you get the picture.
4. Did I mention I forget? I can't remember. ha ha.
3. I have to have my toe nails polished. I can't stand having my toes have no color on them. They don't necessarily have to be looking perfect, but they have to have at least some color on them (so they can be chipped and such) weird. I know. It should be all or nothing, but well, I forget....ha ha.
2. I love cookbooks, but I don't really like to cook. I love to look at the recipes and even daydream about making some wonderful dishes. But when it comes down to it and I have to cook it, I get all flustered and end up making a mess. I even love the food network channel. It's my favorite channel....along with HGTV even though I can't decorate....hmmm....I am beginning to see a pattern here.
1. All that said, I am the Queen of Everything. I even have a mug that says so.
So, now with that done hopefully you now know what makes me...me. And I tag Heather and Kelsey. But remember, I am the Queen of Everything, you cannot beat me. ha ha ha.

My Cat Story
So, scott has been out of town in california this week and I have been soloing it which hasn't been bad until tonight. I had just gotten the kids in bed and I was checking emails and such and I hear my cat growl, hiss and spit. Basically freaking out. She comes tearing into my room, but I can hear a huge commotion still going on in my sunroom. So, I am trying not to freak out and I go check out my sunroom and find another cat that has come in through our doggie door and it's totally freaking out trying to get back outside. The cat keeps throwing itself into the glass door and then climbs the chairs and tries to get out through the windows too. So, I try to open the sunroom door to let it out and not get attacked either (cause this cat was seriously freaked) and it tears out of my sunroom and runs down to my basement trying to find a way out. So I leave the back door open and I run and open the front door and then I have to go and find this stupid cat to shoo it out of my house. Avalee hears me freaking out about this cat and jumps out of bed trying to find out what has happened. So I tell her to help me find this stupid cat and so we go running around trying to call this cat out of the house. Just as I think it has snuck out of my house I go back to the girls room to make sure Sadie is okay and I see the cat streak across their room. I try to shoo it out of the room and to the front door, but the dumb cat is so scared and freaked it claws it's way up sadie's clothes in the closet trying to find a way out that way. It nearly got up to the top shelf and I had no idea how I was going to get the cat down without it attacking me. But at the last minute it jumped down and ran out of that room and into my family room. It jumps up on my new couch and it slams itself into our Harry Potter poster. That poster is dark and I guess it thought it was a door or window or something. So it slams itself into that a couple of times and finally falls between the couch and TV console and hurries and hides under our couch. There is not much room under the couch between the floor and the couch, but somehow that cat is under there. Avalee ran upstairs and grabs me a broom (smart kid) and so I try to shoo the cat out with the broom while hoping and praying this cat doesn't come out and attack my face cause I have to crouch down to floor level to get the broom to reach. So, I am freaked, Avalee is freaked and suggesting we get Scott (I wish) or call 911. (can you just imagine that phone call?) and this cat is freaked. So finally I get the cat to come out from under the couch and I am shouting at avalee to not let it go down to her room and she is turning tail and running to make sure she isn't going to be attacked and the stupid cat runs into my laundry room instead of going up the stairs and outside. So I start to cautiously direct the cat the right way, but it runs back out and under my couch again. So, I hurry and get out our child safety gates and set it up in the hall so the cat can't go to the girls room again and I shut all the doors so it should go upstairs. So, I try to get this dumb cat back out from under the couch again and finally after probably about 7 minutes, it streaks out and runs upstairs and out the door. At least I think it went out the door, but I wasn't fast enough to see it happen for sure and avalee had already run away to make sure she wasn't getting bit, so no one really saw it leave. This happened from 10:00pm to 10:20pm. So hopefully I won't have anything to add on to this in the morning. Anyway, after I had calmed down slightly and convinced avalee she wasn't going to be attacked in her bed, I told scott the story and he was laughing so hard he was crying. So I thought I would share it with you guys and hope that you get some enjoyment out of my night of terror.
I think I am going to count this as my workout for the day cause it was at least 20 minutes, my heart rate was way up there and I was totally sweating by the end of it.

No, I have not been beating my family!!!
Ok, after all the funny looks I get from everyone I guess it is time for me to post what REALLY has happened to Adrea and Avalee over the past few weeks.
First Adrea:
This is what it started out like. A cluster of blood vessels under her eye. The doctor described it as just like a blackberry.
The blue string that goes above her eye and down was a stitch that helped to keep her eye closed and she had to have that for four days. Then she got that stitched removed and she could finally really open her eye and she looked like this:
About 10 days after the surgery she was able to have the rest of the stitches removed and she looked like this:
She still has a bit of a black eye. I have gotten plenty of questioning looks and all sorts of teasing from our neighbors. But she is doing well. Unfortunately when it rains it pours and so on Thursday, March 6, Avalee added to the idea that I was beating my family.
Next Avalee:
Avalee had gone over to our neighbors house and wanted to see their dogs that were out in the front yard. She was petting one of the dogs and turned to leave and the dog got excited and jumped up and got avalee right on the lip . So Adrea had to run Avalee to the hospital for stitches and I met her there from work. We had a wonderful plastic surgeon help put Avalee's lip back together for us, but he gave instructions that she was to be on a liquid diet for 7 days and that she was to talk like a ventriloquist for 3 weeks and to not have any big activity like jumping around and such. Needless to say, it's been very hard for Avalee to do.
Her lip is looking much better and she is SOOO happy to be able to eat solid foods again. To celebrate we took her out to her favorite restaurant Tepanyaki!
So I am not beating my family, I promise. It's just the Reynolds luck!

Farewell President Hinckley
This week we lost our dear prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. What a sad yet happy day. Sad for the worlds loss of this great man who impacted so many! Sad because we will no longer see him as the icon of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sad because we will no longer hear his jokes or the cracking of his voice as he became emotional. But happy because he is now with his wonderful wife and in the arms of our Savior! Continuing this great work! We will miss him but look forward to our next great living Prophet!!!
Also enjoy this incredible tribute but radio and TV host CNN's Glenn Beck!
